Train services running through Dorset could be delayed due to a trespasser on the lines.
South Western Railway (SWR) passengers travelling between Weymouth and London, Waterloo could see disruption to their journey whilst teams escort a trespasser to safety.
Due to the trespass at Winchester, trains have to run at reduced speed on all lines and services running through this station may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
Disruption is expected until 3pm today (Monday, April 22).
A spokesperson for SWR said: “We have been informed of a trespasser on the railway at Winchester. Whilst our teams assist the individual to a place of safety, trains have to run at a reduced speed on all lines.
“For further information or onward travel advice please speak to a member of staff or use a station help point.
“We are very sorry for any delay that this may cause to your journey.”
