Two cars were damaged in a crash in Weymouth.

Police and ambulance services were called to a two-vehicle crash at Boot Hill junction near Asda at around 8pm yesterday.

The crash partially blocked the road and traffic was still able to flow in other directions.

There were no reports of any serious injuries and officers left the scene at around 9.30pm.

Samuel Scofield was travelling on the bus when he managed to capture a video of the scene.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We received a report at 8.02pm on Wednesday, May 1 of a two vehicle collision on Boot Hill in Weymouth. It was reported that the road was partially blocked.

“Officers attended, along with the ambulance service.

“There were no reports of any serious injuries, the road was cleared and officers left the scene at around 9.30pm.”
