People looking to support local health services are invited to an Annual General Meeting (AGM) this month.
The Chairperson and Committee of the League of Friends of Weymouth and Portland Hospitals, warmly invites all to its AGM on Friday, May 17.
The meeting is being held at Weymouth Bay Methodist Church on Melcombe Avenue in Weymouth from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
Refreshments of tea and coffee will be available at the meeting.
The League of Friends provides invaluable support to Weymouth, Westhaven and Portland Community Hospitals - raising money for additional equipment there as well as supporting patients who need financial help.
Many members also give up their time to carry out voluntary work at the hospitals, supporting staff and patients in a variety of ways.
