A group of singers from Dorset are celebrating their thirtieth anniversary with a free concert.
The Occasional Singers will be giving a free performance at St Mary’s Church on Edward Road in Dorchester to mark the occasion. It will take place on Sunday, May 19 at 4pm.
The choir was founded in 1994, with the principal aim of singing music from their founder, Rick Birley. They also sing a wide variety of music.
Songs on the programme date from 1603 through to Elgar and Holst, culminating in some contemporary pieces.
Entrance to the concert is free and there will be a collection in aid of Weldmar Hospicecare.
Refreshments of Birthday cake will be served.
