A fresh weather warning has been issued across Dorset.
A yellow weather warning for rain has been issued for the county and will come into action from 8am-11.59pm tomorrow (Monday, May 13).
During this period, heavy rain is likely to bring some disruption to transport and potentially even flooding to some areas.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: “A band of rain will move east across the area through Monday to bring a spell of heavy and persistent rain.
“20-30 mm of rain is expected to fall widely with as much as 40-50 mm over some hills.
“Flooding of a few homes and businesses is possible, there may be spray and flooding on the roads, making journey times longer, bus and train services will probably also be affected – with journey times taking longer.”
The Environment Agency has categorised Dorset as being at a low risk of flooding on Monday, suggesting that it’s likely that runoff from rainfall or blocked drains will flood low lying land and roads.
