A crash between a car and motorbike blocked a major Dorset road.
Traffic between Weymouth and Dorchester saw delays after a crash on Monkton Hill had blocked one lane of traffic.
Dorset Police and the ambulance service responded after 'minor injuries' were reported, according to police.
The collision happened on the A354 between the Stadium roundabout and the turning to Winterborne Herringston and caused delays to traffic in both directions.
Motorists were advised to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police: "At 1.52pm on Thursday, May 16 2024, Dorset Police received a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a car on the A354 Monkton Hill near the Stadium roundabout.
"Officers are currently in attendance with the ambulance service. One lane of traffic is currently blocked.
"Minor injuries have been reported."
South Western Ambulance Service has been contacted for more information.
