POLICE are investigating a burglary at a popular fish and chip shop in Poole.

At around 2.15am on Sunday, May 12 2024, entry was gained to Lakeside Fish and Chips at Lifeboat Quay and bottles of alcohol were stolen.

Officers are appealing for information and issuing a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify as they investigate the commercial burglary.

Police Constable Niki Edwards of Poole Police said: “We are carrying out various enquiries into this burglary, and I am issuing a CCTV image of the suspect.

“I appreciate the image is not the clearest, but I would urge anyone with information relating to this man’s identity to please contact us.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the vicinity during the early hours of Sunday, May 12 2024, as well as any members of the public who may have captured relevant home CCTV, doorbell camera or dashcam footage.”
