WEYMOUTH have confirmed the departures of four players following the 2023/24 season.

Right-back Teddy Howe, midfielder Tyrique Clarke, winger Joel Rollinson and centre-back Anthony Cheshire all exit the Bob Lucas Stadium.

Howe is arguably the most high-profile loss, having excelled at full-back in his two seasons with the club.

He overcame a serious knee injury in his first campaign, which also included a crucial goal at Havant as Weymouth made the first round of the FA Cup.

Howe leaves having scored twice and recorded nine assists in his 59 appearances.

Rollinson also suffered with injury, and this season was loaned out to Beaconsfield Town.

After a promising start to his first campaign, he bagged two goals and an assist in his 34 games.

Cheshire was another player loaned out by then boss Bobby Wilkinson and went on to play a part in Bracknell reaching the Southern League Premier play-offs, although he was recalled by Weymouth before the season's end.

He only played 16 times for the Terras and registered one assist, also picking up a red card in the 3-0 home loss to Chelmsford.

He did not feature for Weymouth again after the 3-1 loss at Torquay in early December.

Clarke, meanwhile, was a long-term injury gamble for Wilkinson having joined the club crocked and once more was loaned out for extra game time.

He appeared for rivals Dorchester before making his Weymouth debut and only figured for eight minutes in the entire season, during the 2-0 win at Aveley.

The quartet join goalkeeper Harvey Wiles-Richards and striker Harry Parsons in exiting the club, the latter pair returning to their parent teams after successful loan spells.
