A RARE type of seahorse has been spotted in Weymouth waters.
But instead of having a tail and scales, this seahorse has four legs and fur.
Smiling Stewie has been enjoying a swim on sunny evenings.
His owner Katie Beat, aged 26 from Dorchester, a trained horse therapist, said: “I bring my horses down to the sea in Weymouth whenever I can but they are only allowed on the beach after 7pm so these sunny evenings have been perfect for us both.
"Stewie does more than paddle, he swims in the deeper water and tows me around all over the place, he is really a sea horse for sure.”
