DORCHESTER Town have ann-ounced changes to their coaching set-up at reserve and under-18 levels.

Neil Mackie, boss of the club’s under-18s last season, has been promoted to the role of reserve-team manager.

Mackie will work as co-manager of the side along with Jay Keating, someone who has strong links with Bournemouth and Poole.

They are joined by UEFA B Licence coach and former Magpies’ player Steve Gilbert, who worked with Phil Simkin at Hamworthy United.

The under-18s will also have joint managers in the shape of Martin Pashen and Rex Buttle.

Pashen has gained coaching experience with Dorchester Town Youth and Buttle comes to the Avenue following a spell with the Terras.

Coming in as coach to the under-18s is Rich Robson, who is currently working towards his UEFA B Licence and has been involved with the club for a while.

Steve Dodge will continue as first-team goalkeeping coach alongside Magpies’ boss Simkin and his assistant Stuart Heath.

“We have appointed managers that have experience with Dor-chester Town Youth to emphasise and strengthen the link between them and the club,” said Magpies’ director of football Matt Lucas.

The club is also looking for a sports therapist to assist the first team on match days next season.

Prospective candidates need, as a minimum, to have passed the FA’s intermediate treatment of injury course, or an equivalent, and hold a current first aid certificate.

Anyone interested should contact Lucas via the club on 262451.
