Dorchester Town have announced that Paul ‘Sammy’ Harris is back on the club’s board.
A statement on the club’s website reads: “We are delighted to announce that Paul (Sammy) Harris has joined the board of directors of Dorchester Town Football Club.
“Sammy, who owns the local scaffolding business Sam Scaff Dorset ltd, returns to the board after resigning his position at the end of the 2012/13 season.”
Club chairman Matt Lucas added: ”Sammy was unanimously co-opted on to the board at our last board meeting and we are all delighted to have him as part of our team.
“Sammy is a very popular figure around the club and he will bring a lot of experience to the table.”
- The club have also announced that the fans’ forum previously arranged for Monday, September 29 has had to be moved to Monday, October 6 (7pm).
