VIC CRAWFORD  John, Andrew and family would like to express appreciation to all who attended the service and thank everyone for the messages of sympathy received and donations given in Vic's memory. Special thanks to Dee and the other carers, wardens Elaine and Kay, the district nurses and staff of Hinton Ward at Dorset County Hospital, Chris, and his many friends who did so much to help over the last few months. Thanks also to Sam and staff at Rose Funeral Service for their help and understanding and to the Rev. Richard Simmons for his support and the lovely service. 

FRED SHORT  Passed away peacefully, aged 87 on Saturday 27th October at Dorset County Hospital. Loving husband of Betty, much loved father of Robert and Jen, and Martin and Sarah; grandfather of Michael, Catherine, Robert, Neil, Keith and Kate; great-grandfather to Jasmine, Oliver, Georgia, Kes, Archie, Freddie, Jacob and Millie.  Much loved and sadly missed.  His funeral service will take place at Weymouth Crematorium on Wednesday 7th November at 11.30am. BETTY JONES (Nee Blannin)  Passed away peacefully in Dorset County Hospital on 30th October 2007 aged 73 years. Loving wife of Allan, mum to Jayne, nan to Lloyd and Stephanie and sister of Phyllis and Alec. Will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Her funeral service will take place on Tuesday 6th November at 1.45pm at Weymouth Crematorium. KATHLEEN WHEBEHEAD  Former Brown Owl and District Commissioner for the brownies. Retired member of WRVC has passed peacefully at the Evergreen Unit on 30th October aged 75 years. Devoted wife of Norman, much loved mum of Peter and Shirley, treasured grandma and granny. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Kathleen's funeral will be held a Weymouth Crematorium on Monday 5th November at 3.15pm. IAN HURT  Peacefully at Dorset County Hospital on Friday 26th October aged 79 years. Much loved husband of Muriel and a very dear father and grandfather. PEAKE - Robert (Bob). Died 31st October 2002. Loving husband, dad and grandad. We miss you so much my love, the pain will never go. Sleep in peace my love. Again and again I cannot stop crying because of missing you.
