GLADYS CARTER (of Fairfield, Chickerell) Died suddenly on holiday in her beloved Cornwall on 23rd June 2009, aged 92 years. Reunited with her beloved husband Viv. Very much loved mum of Margaret and son-in-law Pete, very special and much loved nan of Steve & Amy, Sam & Chris, loving great nana to Brooke and Finn, loved step nan of Nats, Mark and Vaughan, a special and loved aunt to Jan, Jean, Jill and their families. Funeral service at Weymouth Crematorium on Thursday 2nd July at 3.15pm, after the service all friends and neighbours are welcome at the Lugger Inn, Chickerell for refreshments. GEORGINA SPODE Has passed peacefully at home after a long illness fought with great courage and dignity on 28th June aged 73 years. Devoted wife of Malcolm, much loved mum of Jeanette, Gillian and Alistair, special grandmother and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Georgina's funeral will be held St Ann’s Church, Radipole on Friday 3rd July at 3.00pm, followed by a private committal.
