DEREK SARGENT M.B.E LIFEBOAT COXSWAIN - Retired Passed away, aged 80 on 2nd January at The Royal Bournemouth Hospital after a long illness bravely borne. Loving husband of the late Barbara; dearly loved Dad of Nicola, Linda & Jeanette; dear grandad and great-grandad; loving brother of Tony, Rosemary, Mary & families; and father-in-law to Dave and John. His funeral service will take place at Holy Trinity Church, Weymouth on Friday 11th January at 1.30 pm followed by private cremation. Family flowers only please, but if desired donations, payable to COTTON & SON DONATIONS ACCOUNT for the Ward Amenity Fund at the RBH where Derek was so well cared for, may be sent to Cotton & Son, Milton House, 1 Milton Road, Weymouth DT4 0AZ.
