DOIDGE Eric Fernley Former long serving HMP horticultural officer at the Verne Prison, passed away peacefully at Dorset County Hospital on 24th October 2017, aged 83 years. Beloved husband of Celia, much loved dad to Beverley, Ashley, Francesca and Adam and one who will be greatly missed by his two sisters Denise & Wendy, son in laws, daughter in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends. Funeral Service will take place at Weymouth Crematorium on Wednesday 8th November at 11.30am. Family flowers only please but any donations if desired may be made payable by cheque for the Weldmar Hospicecare Trust and sent c/o Co-op Funeralcare, 130, Abbotsbury Road, Weymouth, Dorset, DT4 0JS, Tel ; 01305 772789.
