HARDY Kathleen (Kate) Stella 5th February 1930 to 28th January 2018 Kate died peacefully of advanced vascular dementia on the morning of Sunday 28th January 2018 in the Bristol Royal Infirmary following a short illness and her family gratefully acknowledge the exemplary care and patience of the medical and nursing staff who took care of her in her final days. Kate leaves her husband William (Bill) Humphrey, Felicity, David and Jonathan, grandchildren Victoria, Samuel and Hannah and her two younger brothers Peter and Michael, as well as a grand circle of friends and relatives around the country. Her life has touched so many and she will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday 22nd February 2018 - "Thinking Day". The Service of Thanksgiving will start at 1pm in the Church of St Luke the Evangelist, Glenarm Road, Brislington, Bristol (off the A4 Bath Road) followed by a private cremation. Family flowers only. The family support ALZHEIMER'S SOCIETY and DEMENTIA UK and donations would be welcome in lieu via L J Guyan, Funeral Directors, 12 Charlton Road, Keynsham, BS31 2JA.
