WHITTY - Gwendoline Betty. Suddenly but peacefully at Dorset County Hospital on January 22nd, aged 80 years. Much loved wife of the late Thomas, most beloved mother of Pauline, Anne, Michael, Madeleine, Teresa, and Mark. Loved and respected mother-in-law, treasured and dearly loved grandmother and great gran, cherished sister and Aunty. A mother holds her children's hands for just a little while, their hearts forever. Funeral service at Our Lady and St Andrew, Grove Road, Portland at 1pm, Thursday 30th January 2003, followed by interment at St. George's Cemetery.
