BETTY HOPKINS Joan, Ken, Nicky, Caleb, Suzy and Simon would like to thank everyone who attended Betty's funeral and sent cards, messages, flowers and donations. Also thank you to all family, friends and neighbours who have surrounded us with a warm blanket of love and support, it has meant so much to us. We would also like to thank the Doctors and District Nurses at Preston Surgery for all their care especially in the last few months, to Peter Cotton for all his help and to the Rev'd Tim Greenslade for the lovely service at the Crematorium and most of all to all the staff and carers at the "Lawns" Residential Home who always treated Betty with love and kindness, it really was "Home" in the last couple of years. Finally a tribute to Betty herself who faced all the illnesses she had to bear over the last few years with such strength and courage, she has been an inspiration to us all and we will miss her. At peace at last with her beloved "Hoppy".
