DOBLE - Ron. Ruth and family would like to thank everyone who sent messages of sympathy and for kindness shown following Ron's death. A very special thank you to kind neighbours, who came so willingly in my hour of need. To all who attended the service to celebrate Ron's life. Our sincere and heartfelt thanks.

SAUNDERS - Margaret. Sylvia, Jim and family would like to thank everyone for the many cards and words of comfort in their sad loss and also for the support of friends who attended the funeral. Heartfelt thanks to the Rev'd Bob Damer for his kindness to Mum and ourselves and for a very special service. Thank you to all the doctors and nurses of Abbotsbury Ward and ICU for the wonderful care Mum received. Thanks also to Ray and Lesley of Co-operative Funeralcare for their help and support and special thanks to Sue and her team at Dorset Villa for looking after Mum so well during her stay.

VICTOR CLEMENTS Anne and Margaret send heartfelt thanks to all who sent messages and supported them following the sudden death of Victor. We wish to acknowledge the valiant efforts of the initial and back-up ambulance teams, and the care and understanding shown by Doctor Burnham, and staff at A & E I.C.U. and Barnes Ward at Dorset County Hospital. Also, our thanks to family and friends who attended the funeral at St. Mary's Church, Maiden Newton, the Reverend Anita Thorne for an uplifting and joyous service, and to Matthew Lucas of Wakely & Sons whose sensitive attention to our wishes resulted in a dignified and peaceful day.

GLADYS KATHLEEN JACKSON Mrs Jackson who until recently resided at Abbeyfield Home at Wyke Regis passed away peacefully in her sleep on 27th January. The Funeral Service to celebrate her life will be held at St. Paul's Church, Abbotsbury Road, Westham, on Wednesday 18th February at 1.45pm. All friends wishing to attend will be welcome. If you would care to go on to Abbeyfield Legh House, Rylands Lane, Wyke Regis afterwards we will be very pleased to see you there for refreshment. The Service will be followed by a Committal at Weymouth Crematorium for family members only. HOPGOOD - Ena. Very gently passed away on Monday 2nd February, age 70 years at Joseph Weld Hospice after an illness bravely fought and so peacefully lost. Much loved and loving Wife of Aubrey, Mother of Hazel and Roger and Nana to Alastair and Hannah.
