HIRD Lily, nee Boatswain. Formerly of Portland, died peacefully in St James Nursing Home Bridport, on Wednesday 12th October. Will be greatly missed by her remaining sister.

JACK WHELLER Peacefully on 9th October 2005 in Cerne Abbas Care Centre, aged 89 years. Formerly of Celtic Crescent, Dorchester. A lifelong supporter of Dorchester Town Football Club. Beloved husband of Gladys, much loved Dad of Roger and Sue and very dear Grandad to Sarah and Jason. Funeral Service at St. George's Church, Fordington, Dorchester on Thursday 20th October at 1.30 pm, followed by private interment in the Weymouth Avenue Cemetery.
