Acknowledgements

ANTHONY JAMES NORRIS (Tony) Maureen and family would like to thank friends and neighbours for their kind letters and messages of sympathy received, we have been overwhelmed. Our thanks to all who attended from near and far, the celebration of Tony's life at All Saint's Church, Wyke Regis and a special thank you to Sam and Melody Wilding of Rose Funeral Service for the caring and professional manner in which they arranged the funeral. Also our thanks to Canon Hugo for the wonderful service and his support, and to Reverend Deborah Smith for her love, understanding and support. Our thanks to all who sent donations for Weld, Trimar & CCD Trust and Diabetes UK in Tony's memory. Maureen sends her thanks for God's gift of wonderful children, son-in-laws, grandchildren and relatives - my love and gratitude always. My thanks also to friends and work colleagues past and present, your continued love and support has been an inspiration to me, and also my thanks to anyone who has helped in any way. Deaths

BARBARA "BARB" BARRETT Passed peacefully away after a short illness in Dorchester Hospital on Monday 12th December aged 62. Much loved wife of David "Jack", loving daughter of Kathleen and sister to Margaret, beloved mother of Ann Marie, Michael, Jane and Susan and adored nanny to Hannah, Luke, Abigail, Matthew, Caitlin, Libby and Sophie. A friend to many in the Puddletown locality, will be greatly missed. Funeral service to be held at St Mary's Church, Puddletown on Wednesday 21st December at 2pm. VERA DRAKE Peacefully on 13th December 2005, aged 89 years. Widow of Bill, much loved mother of Janet, mother-in-law of John, gran of Bridget, Chris, Mark and Reva and great gran of Lewis, Owen and Kieran.
