CLIFFORD THOMAS NEWSHAM Marion and all Cliff's family would like to thank friends, neighbours and ex-colleagues for the cards, letters and messages of sympathy received; also we wish to express our appreciation to all those who attended Cliff's funeral and/or gave donations to Weymouth RNLI; Mr Allan Quartermaine and Woods Funeral Service did Cliff proud, and the Revd Ackroyd lifted our spirits; Tony Garland and staff at The Victoria Inn provided the ideal surroundings for so much reminiscing. Very special thanks must go to all the staff at The Hardy Unit, Dorset County Hospital, for their months of care and kindness to Cliff and to us; also sincere thanks to staff at the Evergreen Unit, Westhaven, who continued that care and consideration to the end. We have gained strength from the support that came from all of you. Thank you. "Smile, open your eyes, love and go on."
