BERT CORNICK" Anne and family would like to thank everyone for their help and support. Grateful thanks for the wonderful nursing and care given to Bert by all the medical staff of the Intensive Care Unit. My thanks to Rev. Richard Betts for his kindness and support and David Grassby for his help and care to me at this sad time. Also for all the many cards and letters you sent with such comforting words. The beautiful Thanksgiving Service attended by so many friends was a great tribute to Bert. On behalf of my family I would like to thank the hundreds of you that sent us cards and letters during this very difficult time, they were much appreciated. Also to all of you who took the time to attend the funeral service, it was wonderful to see so many people from all aspects of Dad's life, he would have been so proud. I would especially like to thank all at Grassby Funeral Services, especially David for making the funeral so much easier to arrange and for being so caring and helpful. Also to Father Phillip and all who assisted in giving such a wonderful service and to John Lock for his fantastic organ playing, Dad would have loved it. A big thank you to Keith Kellaway and all at the football club and to Kate Taylor for the catering, it was all just how Dad would have wanted it. He will be terribly missed but never forgotten. Thanks again Holly.

DAVID LE-ROUX. To hide my sorrow I always try to smile, with others alone I cry. I lost my husband and best friend too who had a heart of gold it's true. How much I miss him can never be told, his life was unselfish, for others he lived not to receive but only to give, helpful, willing, so thoughtful, loving and kind.
