JACK LUCAS Doreen, Tim and family wish to thank everyone for their cards, letters, prayers, kind messages, visits and floral tributes, also for the donations given to Joseph Weld Hospice, following the very sad loss of dear Jack.
To all who attended the thanksgiving service at the Salvation Army Citadel, Weymouth and at the Crematorium, including the Mayor and Mayoress Mr & Mrs Les Ames, all of whom came to pay their respects for Jack's life.
Grateful thanks to the staff of Joseph Weld Hospice for their wonderful care.
Thank you to the Commanding Officers and Majors Alan & Ruth Hill for conducting the service in the traditional Salvation Army way, with such loving care, the Songster's for their well chosen song and all Jack's Salvation Army band Comrades for their wonderful contribution, especially with their March of Witness at the Crematorium and especially to band master David Symes for arranging this. Jack would have been pleased to see so many in the Senior band, including some of Jack's former Young People's Band members who were able to be there. Although a sad occasion, the services were very uplifting in every way.
Thanks to Dennis Mould of Stockting Funeral Service for his friendly and compassionate care in organising Jack's funeral arrangements.
Thank you everyone for your support - God Bless
