MAJOR BILL DICK Margaret, Alison and Andrew wish to thank everyone who visited Bill in hospital and at home and for their support throughout Bill's illness. To all who attended his funeral to pay their last respects at All Saints Church. For the hundreds of cards and letters received; the telephone calls, flowers and floral tributes. For all the donations to Bill's chosen charity, Weld, Trimar & DCC Trust. Our grateful thanks to Doctor Stalley, Doctor Bowditch and the District Nurses from Preston Road Surgery for their dedication and care given when Bill was at home: to Mary the CancerCare nurse, and to the on call doctors. To Canon Hugo for the use of his church and the Reverend Tim West for his help in arranging and conducting such a moving service and for all his support to us when it was needed. To Bob Little for his contribution of playing the pipes of Bill's home land. To Jane Cotton for carrying out the funeral arrangements with such reverence and compassion. ROBERT (BERT) STONE Pam Stone and all the family would like to thank the many friends who supported them in their recent bereavement. Your letters and cards showed the esteem in which Bert was held, in Civic as well as social events. A Christian gentleman who 'played by the rules' in business as well as pleasure.
