ROBERT (BERT) STONE 9.11.28 - 31.08.05 Beloved husband of Pam, father of Kevin and Janice. He loved and was loved by his family, which was extended to include daughter-in-law Carey and son-in-law David. His joy was complete with grandchildren, Timothy, Michael, Keira, Hannah and Ethan. A Portlander born and bred, he was the last chairman of Portland Urban District Council and first Mayor of Portland Town Council. He served as a JP for 22 years and enjoyed a full life which included bowls and singing. A service of Celebration will be held at Westham Methodist Church on Wednesday 7th September at 2.30pm.
