Died peacefully on Easter Sunday, 16th April, at Avenue House Residential Care Home, Dorchester, in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late George Kenrick Hughes (Ken) and much loved mother of Catherine and Richard. Her funeral service will take place at St Marys Church, Charminster on Thursday 27th April at 2.00pm, followed by private interment. No flowers by request please, donations in Ruth's memory may be given to be divided between The RNLI (Weymouth), Salvation Army (Dorchester) and Oxfam (cheques made payable to Woods Funeral Service) and sent c/o Woods Funeral Service, 11a Icen Way, Dorchester, DT1 1TW.
