- Peacefully on 31st March 2006, at home with his family around him, after a life well-lived, Jim, former headmaster of Barnwell School, Stevenage, aged 86 years. A beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who will be very sadly missed. A funeral service will be held at Ham Down Woodland Burial Ground, Shillingstone on Monday 10th April at 11.00am.
