Tricia and Sam would like to thank everyone who attended the Service of Thanksgiving for Dave's life and all who sent letters and cards which have given so much comfort at this sad time. Thank you for the generous donations to the Weld, Trimar and CCD Trust, Marie Curie Cancer Care and the Fortuneswell Cancer Trust.

We give our special thanks to the many people who supported and cared for Dave and for us as a family throughout his long illness, especially our family, friends and colleagues, the Cornwall Road Surgery, the Fortuneswell Unit, Joseph Weld Hospice, Dorset Cancer Care, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Dorset Social Care and Health and West Dorset District Council.

Thank you to the Reverend Philip Lambert and the Reverend Deborah Smith for their thoughtful compassion and support and
to David Grassby and Grassby Funeral Service for such kindness and sensitive care.
