PETER PITT  A 'True hero' who survived his battle at the age of 19 on the beaches of Normandy, and sadly lost his last battle to cancer at Joseph Weld Hospice, on Friday 17th August. Devoted husband and life long carer of Norma; much loved father of Jonathan, father-in-law of Avis and grandfather to Joanna and Marcus. Our thanks to all those who have given support and love to Peter through recent weeks and past years. His funeral service will take place at Weymouth Crematorium, on Thursday 23rd August at 1.45pm.  Informal clothing preferred. Family flowers only please, but if desired, donations for 'Weldmar Hospicecare Trust' or Abbotsbury Ward' may be sent to Cotton & Son, Milton House, 1 Milton Road, Weymouth, DT4 0AZ.
