RONALD FREDERICK JAMES MATTHEWS "RON"  Of Easton, Portland has passed peacefully in Dorset County Hospital on 17th March, aged 82 years, after a short illness bravely borne. Cherished husband of the late Mary Matthews, much loved father of Tom, Fred, Pat, Mary-Ellen, Bob and Tess. Beloved grand father and great grandfather. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.  Ron's funeral will be held at All Saints Church, Easton on Thursday 20th March at 10.00am followed by burial at Portland Cemetery.  Family flowers only please, but donations may be made payable for the RNLI (Weymouth) and sent by cheque only c/o Co-operative Funeralcare, 130 Abbotsbury Road, Weymouth, Dorset, DT4 0JS.
