EDITH FLORENCE ATKINS "EDIE" Former County Treasurer of the Women's Section Royal British LegionPassed suddenly but peacefully away in Dorset County Hospital on Saturday 12th April 2008, aged 90 years. Beloved wife of the late John, very much loved mother of Carole and John, mother-in-law of Gordon, dear nan of Martin, Graham, Brian and Julie, Great nan of Rebecca, Scott and Connor, loved sister of Olive. Edie's funeral service will take place at St George's Church, Fordington, Dorchester on Thursday 24th April at 2.00pm, followed by cremation at Weymouth at 3.15pm.
