BISHOP ~ Valerie nee Thomas aged 82 years, died unexpectedly after suffering an acute illness at Dorset County Hospital on 28th March 2008. Widow of Edgar, dearest mother of Vivien and Juliet and sister of Lindsay, much loved grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. No longer in pain and reunited with her beloved Edgar. Thanksgiving service at St Mary's Church, Beaminster on Friday 4th April at 12.00 noon. Her ashes will be interred in Loders Churchyard. Family flowers only please, donations if desired for the Blind Association (Bridport Branch) and The Macular Disease Society c/o A.J. Wakely & Sons, 7 North Street, Beaminster.
