To Whist or not to Whist
The Park Whist Club meets every Thursday from 2.15 to 5.00 at the Park Community Centre, Chelmsford Street. For the first time ever we had 2 pairings who scored the maximum 13 - nil during last Thursday's games. Dave and Lydia won against Irene and Ralph then Irene got her revenge with Jim against Marion and Anne.

I hear there has been an influx of people/ knitters/crocheters asking all over the town where they can get the "Forget Me Not" pattern from.
Community Quiz night continues on Saturday March 28
News in form the Park Area Community Cente at Chelmsford Street is that the nex t Community Quiz is being organised for Saturday March 28 - as always doors open at 7pm, and entry fee is £3.50 which includes a delicious buffet (this is the reason they ask people to pre book their teams if possible).
