MORE firms are signing up for a chance to make connections with other companies.
The Business Connections Exhibition, to be held at the Redlands Community Sports Hub in Weymouth on Friday, January 20, is proving popular with local companies.
Nigel Reed, of Basepoint Weymouth, said the exhibition is a good idea for the Weymouth area.
“There’s lots of business meet-ups but it’s good to have an exhibition and promote who we are and connect with other companies.
“There are a lot of bad news stories about the economy and we want to show that we’re out there trying to make a difference.” Specialist security consultant Real World Services is another company exhibiting at Redlands.
Darron Garnett of Real World said: “We are passionate about the ‘buy local’ principle and strongly believe that if local businesses raise the bar there should be no reason why they are not given the opportunity to win the bigger contracts. “2012 is a great example and we hope to see as many local SMEs benefit from the opportunities that the forthcoming games will bring.”
To book a stand at Business Connections call exhibition organiser Simon Marfell on 07810 201174.
