A DORSET charity supporting people with autism has announced a new senior appointment.
Jo Pattison has joined The Wessex Autistic Society as area manager for the community support services.
She has more than 12 years of experience in the social care sector and will be key to the charity’s developing work as it aims to offer people in their own homes the maximum choice of services.
Jo, who will be operating from Christchurch and Dorchester, said: “Being empowered to make choices and independent is what we all want and I am excited to be part of these developments.
“I look forward to building the vision with the society.”
Director of services Jon Wyatt said: “We are delighted to have Jo join our team, with her extensive experience, knowledge, and commitment to high standards, her appointment is key in extending our person-centred services to both adults and children.”
