ARE you the best woman in business?

The Dorset Echo Industry Awards, sponsored by Skyline, Weymouth College, HIX and Langham Wines, are back for a second year and will see the best businesses in Dorset come together to celebrate their achievements.

This year new categories have been introduced, including the Best Woman in Business award.

The sponsor for this new category is Permanent Makeup by Claire Louise.

Businesses have until Monday, May 1 to enter the awards and this year we are looking for more entrants from the west of the county.

Finalists will be invited to the Industry Awards ceremony at Weymouth College on June 16, where the winners will be announced.

Craig Willis from Permanent Makeup by Claire Louise said: β€œIt is our great pleasure to recognise with this award the outstanding contribution that woman make to the Dorset economy. I encounter many entrepreneurial woman each day, whose courage and drive inspire those women around them to embark upon careers in business and commerce.”

Businesses can enter themselves or be nominated in any of the 11 categories.

Best Product or Service (sponsored by Atlas)

Best Community Engagement Business (sponsored by Active Mobility)

Best Apprenticeship Employer (sponsored by Weymouth College)

Best Dining Provider (sponsored by Brewery Square)

Best Woman in Business (sponsored by Permanent Makeup by Claire Louise)

Businesses from the DT postcode sector can be nominated by sending 100 to 250 words by e-mail to debbie.hellaby@dorsetecho.co.uk with Industry Awards in the subject line. Up to three supporting documents may be provided as attachments.
