A brand new award designed to uncover the powerful stories across the county is being introduced for the 2017 Dorset Business Awards.

RT Brand Communications will be looking for the county’s Brand of the Year with the launch of a prestigious new award.

Marking their fourth year as brand and marketing sponsor for the Dorset Business Awards, RT have taken a fresh approach to this year’s awards with a colourful new look and feel.

After discussing the success of local companies and the evolution of brand relationships with business performance, the exciting new award category took shape.

This award is all about recognising the importance of exceptional brand marketing. Working alongside a judging panel of independent experts, RT Brand Communications are on the hunt for the businesses that truly reflect the dynamic and forward-thinking culture of Dorset.

The Brand of the Year Award is a chance to look beyond the numbers and celebrate how organisations have used their brand to deliver the best “on-promise” experience to their audience.

Matt Ralph, managing director at RT Brand Communications, said: “Dorset has a rich history of remarkable brands, from the global players to the new start-ups with exciting propositions. Although choosing just one business to be named Dorset Brand of the Year will be difficult for us, we are very proud to have created this new award with Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry to celebrate the very best in marketing excellence.”

Whether a fresh startup or a long-established business, this award is open to all brands.

In association with the Daily Echo and Dorset Echo, the awards are backed by Wave 105 and are free to enter.

Entrants can submit an entry via dorsetbusinessawards.co.uk prior to the closing date on Sunday, September 3.

Entry is open to all companies which are based in Dorset with a BH or DT postcode and membership of DCCI is not required to enter.
