The Wheels promotional picture giveaway proved popular, and in the end we decided to donate the large collection of contemporary automotive photographs and manufacturers' press packs to fundraising stalwart Roy Twycross.
Roy wants to use them at the Ride In A Ferrari event, which raises money for a local hospital ward and a national charity.
Roy said: "Half the money we make from this and the promotional opportunities it brings will be invaluable to the Jennifer Trust for Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a national cause helping people with this life-limiting condition.
"The other half will be donated to the Ridgeway Ward at Dorset County Hospital for them to complete work on a resources room for patients and staff to learn about orthopaedic surgery. This was actually started with money from Ride In A Ferrari in 2006."
Funds donated to the Jennifer Trust over the years have typically gone towards providing powered wheelchairs and orthopaedic beds, as well as organising social functions and days out.
Roy added: "This year, Ride In A Ferrari will be on Saturday, June 7 and is based at Monkeys Jump, near Dorchester, giving passenger-seat rides in Ferraris and other supercars.
Among the many Ferraris, we're expecting to see a new GTB Fiorino and a classic 456M GTA.
We are expecting around 20 cars to be giving rides and the minimum donation asked for is £10.
Roy added: "Many thanks for the collection. They will certainly go down a storm as raffle or auction prizes or for selling at this year's event."
