Have you grown sunflowers this year?
Well if you have you may want to enter them in Bradford Peverell Village Hall Gardening and Cookery Show.
It is on Saturday 12th September in the Village Hall doors open 2.30 pm admission 50p.
The sunflower competition is not for the tallest plant but for the biggest flower head so have a look in your garden and do enter yours!
Entries are welcome from everyone young and old and in between and the show is a great place to meet up with friends and neighbours.
We hope the 'Credit Crunch' flower arrangement class will attract entries from gentlemen as well as ladies.
There will be all the usual flower, vegetable cookery and children's classes.
Do bring any spare produce for the sales table afterwards.
Enjoy the refreshments and raffle and do bid generously at the sale as all proceeds go to the Village Hall funds.
