THE CATTISTOCK-based charity Children of Fiji has produced a quiz on the topic of ‘Solids, Liquids and Gases’. This is a postal quiz with all answers relating to or leading to the name of a solid, liquid or gas. Questions are a mixture of factual and cryptic.

IMPACT is a series of informal Ladies Lunches during which you can explore the impact of Christian faith in the lives of a diverse range of speakers. ARTSREACH presents ‘Petite Annonces’ in Melbury Osmond Village Hall at 7pm on Thursday November 21. The cost of tickets is £8 for adults, £6 for under 16’s and £20 for a family. This is a North Dorset based jazz group with a wide repertoire, including gypsy jazz, old French chansons and punk manouche. There will be a bar available during the evening.
