THE NOW ‘world famous’ Rampisham Quiz lived up to its reputation and a great evening was had by all who took part.
There was a wide range of brain teasing questions on a variety of subjects and the refreshments were also up to their usual high standard. At the end of the evening the prize went to Country Cousins, with Undecided and Woodlanders sharing the second position.
Meetings are normally held in Stratton Village Hall at 7.30pm.

This will be the last meeting in the hall this year, as the Christmas lunch will be held the following week.

This is a burlesque revue of the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s. As this is a cabaret evening, it’s a chance to wear your glad rags if you wish.
The cost is £7 for adults, £5 for under 18’s and £20 for a family. Tickets can be bought from Teresa Oaksford on 01935 83410.
There will be a bar during the evening.
All the usual stalls will be there, including pot plants, produce, cakes, raffle, teas, soft toys.
Stallholders will be grateful for items to sell and prizes for the bottle tombola and raffle. They are happy to collect items and would like to hear from you as early as possible.
All proceeds will pay for church insurance, which this year will cost £3,000.

The event runs from 8pm until midnight with music by Mike C. There will be a bar, raffle and light supper.
Tickets cost £6 (£7 on the door) and are available from Heather on 01935 83435 or from Cattistock PO.
There is no entry fee. Trees must be 4 ft or under. Decoration must not require electricity. There will be a prize for best turned out tree.
The trees will be exhibited in St Mary’s from Saturday, December 12. Prize giving will be held on Sunday, December 13.
