Sarah and Simon (alias Scratch n Sniff) are presented with their prizes for winning the Cattistock Car Treasure Hunt.
CATTISTOCK Fete week has now drawn to a close after another very successful sequence of exciting events.
One of the highlights was the ever popular car treasure hunt, in which teams set off to follow a route through the local area and solve clues along the way. Winners this year were Sarah and Simon, aka ‘Scratch n Sniff’. Congratulations to them and to all the others who took part - and thanks to Ben and Georgina for an excellent set of clues.
The weather was kind on Fete Day itself. People flocked to the village to enjoy the stalls and sideshows, listen to the band and sample the tasty wares on offer.
The theme of the fete this year was ‘The Movies’ and many people were dressed as characters from their favourite films.
Thanks go to Sophie Sennett and to everyone else who helped to make this another successful fete.
