CATTISTOCK Flower Show takes place at the Fox and Hounds on Sunday, August 21.
There will be classes for flowers, vegetables, home produce, photography, handicrafts, children’s classes and lots, lots more.
Entry forms and schedules are available in advance from the Fox and Hounds Proceeds will go to Dorchester Hospital PRIZE Bingo takes place at Frampton Village Hall on Saturday, August 13. Eyes down is at 7:30pm This event is in aid of the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance THE NEXT Cream Tea session at Frampton Village Hall will be held from 3pm on Sunday, August 14th. There will also be a sales table for Odds & Ends This time profits will go to the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance The following Sunday, August 21 the teas will be in aid of St Mary’s Church For more information, please phone Rene Green 01300 320666 STRATTON and Bradford Peverell WI will be holding a coffee morning from 10.30am on Thursday, August 18 in Bradford Peverell Village Hall.
Stalls include bric-a-brac, books, home produce, raffle, delicious home made biscuits.
Admission, including refreshments is £1.
THE 139th Melbury Osmond Flower Show takes place from 2.30pm on Saturday, August 20 in the village hall.
There will be displays, stalls, side shows and a large children’s play area. These include displays of flowers, fruit and vegetables, handicrafts, photos, floral art, cakes, plants, home grown produce, bric a brac and books.
Admission and car parking are free.
THERE will be a cricket match between Evershot and Melbury Osmond in Evershot on Sunday, August 21, starting at 2.30pm and ending at 7.30pm.
Melbury Osmond will be captained by John Senior (01935 83229). Please let John know if you would like to play.

This is to raise funds for Denham College heating.
The Women’s Institute as a whole is aiming to sell one million cups of tea worldwide!
QUIZ NIGHT at Stratton Village Hall takes place on Saturday, August 27, starting at 7.30pm.
Everyone is welcome. Teams must have a maximum of 6 members.
The cost is £7.50 per person and a hot supper is included.
The event is in aid of Dorset Kidney Fund.
