THIS REPORT is coming to you from Fiji, where we are continuing with our charity work.

We have already visited a number of schools and children’s homes on the main island and are just about to travel further afield to some of the smaller islands. Among other things we shall be arranging for work to begin on our sixth kindergarten on the island of Vanua Levu.

We have also been busy organising a visa for the 3-year old girl, who desperately needs surgery. Doctors in Melbourne have agreed to treat Pooja free of charge, and we hope that she will be travelling to Australia in the next week or so.

One of the highlights of this visit so far was the chance to meet up with Iliesa Delana, Fiji’s gold medal winner in the London Paralympics 2012 (and indeed Fiji’s only Olympic medal winner ever). Iliesa won his medal for the men’s high jump.
