BUCKLAND NEWTON A TREE will be planted in the village churchyard to commemorate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

A CHRISTMAS market is being held in the Village Hall on Friday, November 30 during the morning Village Café.

WAYFARERS are holding their next meeting in The Parish Room on Tuesday, November 27.

It carries the title “Does it matter if Jesus had a wife?” and is open to all who appreciate a frank discussion on matters of faith in good company.

BUTTERFLY Conservation: A Conservation Action Day will once again be held at Lankham Bottom Reserve on Sunday, November 18.

Everyone is very welcome to attend, whether you have participated in an Action Day before or not!

The day will last from 10am – 4pm with the team continuing the task of gorse and thorn shrub clearance.
