HELP!

The Chalk Stream magazine, which is provided free of charge in the benefice and also covers Sydling St. Nicholas, needs volunteers to collate its pages.

This task is done at Stratton Village Hall on a Friday morning following the copy date, ten times a year.

The more people come forward, the more teams can be created and thus it’s less work for everyone!

If you think you can help or would like more information to begin with contact Tracy Hughes on 01305 257972 or Tony Warne on 01300 321138.

A PLAY is planned to be staged at Sydling Church in December, with the title “The Late Wise Man”.

It is a Christmas Story and anyone who might be interested in taking part is asked to come forward.

An initial meeting has been held but more help is always needed, you could be one of the actors, take part in the singing, organising props and much more.

Please call Mary Penfold on 01300 341545 to find out more.
