A Charity Fun Day will be taking place in Chickerell on Sunday, August 31st.

The Lugger Inn is holding a Fun Day with the proceeds going to the Willow Foundation.

The Willow Foundation is a national charity that offers quality of life and quality of time to seriously ill young adults, aged 16 - 40 through special days.

The aim of any special day is to offer time out from the treatment of life threatening conditions and to allow seriously ill adults to enjoy an experience of their choice.

The foundation was founded by Bob Wilson and his wife as a lasting memorial to their daughter, Anna, who died of cancer aged 31.

There will be a raffle, a bouncy castle, a barbeque and Gladiator Duels!

The fun starts at 2.30pm.

Please go along and support this great day out, raise money for a worthwhile charity and enjoy fun for all the family!

A tea dance in aid of Age Concern is being held in the Willowbed Hall on Friday, September 5.

It starts at 2pm and finishes at 4pm.

All welcome including non dancers.
