THE Chickerell Community Litter Team are holding a litter pick on Saturday, April 4 at 2pm. Please meet at the Willowbed Hall if you would like to join in. Afterwards you are welcome to join the social gathering for tea and cakes in the council suite, Willowbed Hall. A litter pick is also planned for September. Please go along and join in
- THE new Sureline bus service to Dorchester which started in January has proved so popular that they are increasing the service. As from last Monday, there is an extra service leaving Chickerell from the Willowbed Hall, Monday to Friday at 6.50am. The Sureline X20 service will operate via Granby Industrial Estate and Southill arriving at Dorchester Trinity Street at 7.25am and Dorset County Hospital at 7.10am.
There will be three return journeys from Dorchester’s Trinity Street at noon, 1pm and 5.20pm. Dorset County Hospital departs at 12.05pm, 1.05pm and 5.25pm on a request basis, Monday to Friday.
The bus is free to concessionary bus pass holders but otherwise it is £3.20 single, £3.50 return; half fare for under 16s.
