Christmas time is all about giving and that is just what John and Karen from Alf's fish and chip shop are doing. On Thursday December 19, children from both Conifers Primary School and Beechcroft School will receive 600 portions of sausage and chips at no cost, but all donated by the community and Alfs. At the same time Fiveways, Victory Hall and other places will have a free party. This will include free fish and chips, Chocolate pudding and 1/2 pound of chocolates for each person.

John would personally like to thank the community of Westham for its generous contributions, as without people donating, all this would not be possible.

SPOT are holding a 'Christmas Coffee Morning' (in aid of The Philippines Emergency Disaster Fund)

This will be held at St Paul’s Community Hall, Abbotsbury Road, Weymouth, Saturday December 14 10.00am to 12.00.

There will be home made cakes, mince pies, a raffle and so much more. So why don't you go along and enjoy the festive fun.

Whether you have the voice of an angel or just sound like someone in pain, get your singing voices into action on Monday December 16 when the 'Carol Bus' comes to Westham. The bus will leave from Cobham Drive at 6pm and work its way through the estate and finish on Newstead Road. The Westham Community Group will join the Rotary Club this year and will be knocking on your door for donations. This money is put back into the community via many sources, so please give if you can for those in need of support.
