Spring has come to Osmington. On Saturday 28th March a band of village volunteers with tools in hand, and despite the pouring rain, worked tirelessly tidying the St Osmunds churchyard and polishing and cleaning the church.
After a lovely week of sunshine it was possibly inevitable that having organised the spring clean the weather would change! This didn’t put off the 34 villagers who came along to help cut the grass, clear the ivy and brambles and remove moss and weeds from the footpath. The churchyard is now full of colour as this hard work has revealed daffodils and primroses adorning the grass and footpath.
