PORTESHAM Torch Relay committee are continuing their plans to pave Portesham with gold by planting hundreds of golden marigolds in beds and inside rings of painted car tyres along the B3157 during June.

These will have to be regularly watered, fed and de-headed throughout the summer, and in the autumn they will be dug up and replaced with grass and wild flower seeds.

If you would like to help with any of the preparation and/or maintenance please contact Annie Cobb on 01305 871930 or Simon Titley on 01305 871044.
