Jan Dyer the Co-Op store manager gave out prizes of gift vouchers last week to the winners of the Big4Littlemoor logo competition. Katie Bowditch age 7, Madeline Ashdown-Kirk age 10 and Kara-Sophia Evans age 15 were the winners in each of the three groups.

One of the winning entries will be selected to be the logo letterhead for the forthcoming Big4Littlemoor newsletters.

The biggest event on the Littlemoor calendar is coming up, so please make a note of the date, Saturday 20th August.

The Big Littlemoor Family Fun day will be held on the Top Club fields between noon and 6pm. There will be some fantastic events in a fun and action packed afternoon.

More details as we get closer to the date but just to whet your appetite here’s two the kids won’t want to miss:- free miniature train rides and a bungee run.

The next meeting of the Big4Littlemoor group will be at the Top Club at 10am on Thursday 11th August.

If you have any issues or questions to raise then you are welcome to go along.

Meanwhile at 11am on Thursday 28th July outside the Co-Op there will be someone to answer questions or take your suggestions.

We need everyone in the community to get involved. How this £1m from the Lottery is spent is everybody’s decision.

If you cannot get along to any of these consultations or meetings then the first issue of the newsletter (due out early August) will have a form for you to give us your ideas.
